Brisbane Managing Director Mark Kingsman talks the Roar’s – at times – tumultuous off-field issues, the commitment of the Bakrie family and the club’s finals ambitions. “We’re certainly looking forward to the Finals, whether we’re home or away and we see it as a good opportunity. We’re hitting some form and we feel that on our day we can compete with any side.” Pressed on issues of recent off-field issues however, Kingsman admits what actually transpired was a lot different to what reported. “What transpired is not acceptable and we recognise that as a club and our coaches recognise that too. It was important from the club’s point of view that we waited to see the findings of the FFA investigation before we decided to react.
